Indian cricketer Rinku Singh got engaged to Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj in Lucknow on Sunday. He is now going to start a new life. There were already rumors of their marriage, but now it has been confirmed that Rinku Singh is going to marry Priya Saroj.

Some close relatives and many politicians and cricketers attended this engagement ceremony. This engagement ceremony made headlines all over India and was a topic of discussion on social media throughout the day. The two will get married in November at the Taj Hotel in Varanasi.

After the engagement, the left-handed batsman posted a post from his official Instagram account, in which he wrote, ‘We have been waiting for this day for so long – almost three years – and the wait has been worth every moment. Engaged – wholeheartedly and forever.’

Rinku Singh has become a regular player for India in this format after the T20 World Cup, but he has not been able to make his place in the ODI format. He has played two ODIs for India and his figures in List A cricket are quite good. The left-hander has scored 1,899 runs in 52 innings at an average of 48.69 and a strike rate of 94.8. This includes one century and 17 half-centuries.

Apart from this, Rinku has scored 546 runs in 33 T20 Internationals and 24 innings at an average of 42.00 and a strike rate of 161.06, including three half-centuries. He is yet to score his first T20I century. The 27-year-old made his T20I debut against Ireland in 2023.

Rinku Singh has been one of the key players of KKR in the IPL. He has played 59 matches in this T20 league and has scored 1099 runs at a strike rate of 145.20. He has also scored four half-centuries in this league. However, his performance this season was not that good. He scored only 206 runs for KKR at an average of 29.42 and a strike-rate of 153.73
